Elias was three days old.

 

Chris and Jessalie are dear friends of ours. When Elias came, these photos were my gift to welcome him. We brought dinner that evening, and we all talked about our individual experiences of becoming parents; the things that had surprised us, the joy it had brought us. Elias slept, and we talked about sleep.
